  • 06/10/2023

In the context where renewable energy is becoming an integral part of Vietnam's and the world's energy supply, responding to and implementing solar projects have become essential goals to mitigate the impacts of climate change and ensure energy security for the future. In this spirit, Siam Brothers Vietnam Joint Stock Company has emerged as an outstanding example of commitment and action.

The Vietnamese government has strongly encouraged the development of renewable energy, particularly solar power, through various incentives and support policies. Siam Brothers Vietnam has not only supported but also actively pursued the implementation of the Roof Solar Power Project with a designed capacity of up to 1.87 MWp, completing it ahead of the deadline set for December 31, 2020.
This project was carried out through the subsidiary company, Siam Solar Trading and Services Limited Liability Company (Siam Solar,) which is fully owned by Siam Brothers Vietnam Joint Stock Company, with a charter capital of 10 billion VND. This underscores Siam Brothers Vietnam's strong commitment to renewable energy and environmental protection.

The Roof Solar Power Project was deployed across the roofs of four company workshops, covering a total roof area of 21,600 square meters. It utilizes 17 inverters with a total electricity production capacity of 2,284 kWp. This not only meets the energy needs of the company's workshops but also significantly contributes to reducing energy consumption costs, making production operations more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Siam Brothers Vietnam's efforts are not merely to meet business objectives but also to demonstrate that sustainable development and social responsibility can go hand in hand. We applaud and encourage these efforts and hope that they will inspire many other businesses to participate in Vietnam's renewable energy revolution. Siam Brothers Vietnam serves as a remarkable example of how to fulfill commitments to environmental protection and contribute to the development of clean energy in the nation.
