On the morning of May 19, 2023, Hospital 199, in collaboration with the Military-Civilian Health Center and Ly Son District, organized a seminar with the theme "Improving Health and Preventing Common Diseases for Fishermen in Coastal Areas."

Format: In-person at the conference hall of the Health Center.
Participants: Doctors, healthcare staff working in Ly Son District, residents living on Ly Son Island, Hospital 199 leadership and related parties, representatives from Bao Viet Insurance Company, and representatives from the sponsor company Siam Brothers Vietnam.
The purpose of the seminar is to disseminate information on healthcare and the protection of health for coastal residents, prevent accidents and injuries during sea activities, and contribute to increased productivity for coastal residents.
Furthermore, the seminar aims to protect the health of coastal residents by emphasizing the importance of implementing remote health monitoring applications and devices for daily life, promoting periodic health check-up services provided by Hospital 199, and the benefits of health insurance to users. Additionally, the use of high-quality ropes and fishing nets produced by Siam Brothers Vietnam is encouraged to ensure work efficiency and reduce the risk of occupational accidents while working.
