Siam Brothers Vietnam joins Hands to Support the Community in Overcoming the COVID-19 Pandemic

After erupting in 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences have caused significant disruptions to people worldwide. The government of Vietnam has fought intelligently to protect the country and its citizens from the waves of new virus variants. Unfortunately, starting from May, these efforts have been eroded as essential resources have been depleted. Lockdown measures were imposed, causing disruptions in the lives of millions across the nation.
Ho Chi Minh City, one of Vietnam's major economic centers, was no exception to these challenges. Even Siam Brothers Vietnam Joint Stock Company (SBVN), headquartered in this central city with operations in Long An, had to endure severe impacts with constraints on transportation, logistics, production, human resources, and all necessary elements.
Despite these hardships, the company's leadership chose to share with those in even more dire circumstances. In this manner, the company allocated manpower and resources to support people affected by the pandemic in areas where the company operates. Specifically, SBVN provided food assistance (rice, fish, and bananas) through authorized agencies such as the District 12 People's Committee, the City Youth Union, church associations, and charitable kitchens.
